It is possible to reach Seitan Limania beach by car, public transport or boat. The best option is to rent a car at Chania airport for a 15 minute drive.

The path leading to this secret beach, also known as Stefanou beach, is a real natural jewel. Along this paved road, lined with rock formations, drivers will have to show skill and courage to reach their destination. If you have any doubts about your driving skills, it is best to take a boat. Although the road is winding and sometimes steep, experienced mountain road drivers should not encounter any difficulties. Moreover, the road has been recently tarred to guarantee a better driving comfort. The paved road descends sharply to a parking lot that serves the beach. When to go there?

The best time to visit Seitan Limania is between May and September, when the temperatures are milder and the sea is calm.

If you want to avoid the crowds, it is recommended to visit the beach outside the high tourist season, in May or September. If you decide to visit in the summer, it is advisable to leave early in the morning to avoid the intense heat of the afternoon and the crowds.

Tips: meet at Seitan Limania early in the morning. First of all because it’s beautiful, but also because around 11 am, many tourists start to arrive. This is the price of fame!
